GLMX has appointed Jordan Maskowitz and Ravi Sharma following the significant growth the firm has seen within its securities lending (SBL) offering.

Based in New York, Maskowitz will contribute to SBL business development and sales, in particular in North America.

Maskowitz joins the firm from an 11-year tenure at S&P Global, in which he held a number of roles throughout the firms transition from Markit to its current status as S&P Global.

During his time at the firm, Maskowitz was focused on S&P Globals securities finance business, taking on product specialist roles.

In his current position with GLMX, he will report to Bob Zekraus, global head of business development, securities lending.

Based in London, Sharma will contribute to SBL business and product development, in particular in Europe and APAC.

Prior to his new position at GLMX, Sharma spent five years with eSecLending, where he was most recently assistant vice president for client relationship management.

He will report to Dan Long, global head of product management, securities lending.

Commenting on the appointments, Glenn Havlicek, CEO and co-founder of GLMX, says: We continue to invest in our SBL infrastructure and platform. Most recently, we have been working with innovative market leaders to directly connect their trading infrastructure with GLMX.

Ever increasing client adoption continues to drive significant month-on-month growth in lender availability, borrow requests and executed transaction volume across fixed income and equity asset classes.
