Research and consulting firm Celent has named David Easthope as senior vice president of its securities and investments group.
Easthope is currently a research director within the group, and is based in the firm鈥檚 San Francisco office.

Easthope first joined Celent as an analyst in 2005. Previously, he was a director of strategy at Charles Schwab. He has also held positions as a business strategist at brokerage firm Detwiler Fenton and equity research roles at Raymond James & Associates and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey covering companies in the financial technology industry.
