BNP Paribas has confirmed that the board has promoted existing employee Valentina Crovato and hired James Chan.

After joining BNP Paribas in 2012, Crovato has now been promoted to head of trading for Europe.

Chan has joined BNP Paribas as a fixed income trader. He joins after leaving Lloyds Banking Group, with whom he was employed for almost a year and a half. He was most recently employed in specialist retail sales.
