SEC name new director of international affairs

The US Íø±¬³Ô¹Ï and Exchange Commission (SEC) has promoted Katherine Martin to the role of associate director of its office of international affairs.

Martin will oversee the development of the SEC’s policy on cross-border regulation, including its participation in multilateral standard-setting and negotiations with foreign authorities.

Having worked at the SEC for more than a decade, Martin previously held the position of assistant director in the office of international affairs.

Martin said: “It is an honour to have been named associate director. I look forward to working with my talented and dedicated colleagues throughout the agency and with our foreign counterparts in this new capacity.â€

Paul Leder, director of the SEC’s office of international affairs, added: “Katherine Martin is a thought leader on international regulatory issues and is a tremendous asset to the office.â€
