Goldman Sachs has appointed Lucia Arienti to lead its prime brokerage consulting team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to multiple sources.

Arienti, who has been with the bank for 14 years, will replace William Douglas, who left in January to join Caius Capital as COO.

Previously, Arienti worked within the bank’s prime brokerage sales team.

She will assume her new role immediately and be based in London.
