Kazakhstan鈥檚 Astana International Exchange (AIX) has completed 850,000 securities lending transactions totalling US$600,000, across seven different currencies, as of 20 August 2021.
AIX first launched its securities lending transaction service in March 2020.
网爆吃瓜 lending and borrowing is available to appointed market makers in Kazakhstan after being authorised by AIX regulation and compliance.
Olivier Gueris, COO of AIX, says: 鈥淎IX offers its market-makers a securities lending service to cover short-selling positions within a robust and proven operational and risk-management framework.
