Hazeltree has appointed Rowan Shri Rohatgi as sales manager for hedge funds.
Based in New York, he will report to Doug Trafelet, the firm鈥檚 chief commercial officer.
He joins the company following a six-year term with Goldman Sachs, where he spent his career in Prime Services across Singapore and London.
Here, Rohatgi gained insight into the liquidity, margin, counterparty, and operational challenges hedge funds and asset managers navigate every day.
During his career, he has also held roles within Wellington Management, GMO, and Deloitte India.
Commenting on this new role, Rohatgi says: 鈥淚 joined Hazeltree as I wanted to pivot into fintech, drawn to the treasury management solutions we provide to help fund managers unlock alpha.
