Goldman Sachs hires Cole

Goldman Sachs has appointed Cameron Cole as an analyst and prime brokerage, securities lending trader.

Based in Hong Kong, Cole brings experience in securities finance, data analytics, and APAC client engagement, with a technical background in Python, SQL, and VBA.

He joins the firm from CLSA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC Íø±¬³Ô¹Ï, having served as an associate within the firm’s equity finance team.

Prior to this, Cole spent four years at EquiLend, progressing from the graduate business rotational programme to a senior associate within the firm’s Data & Analytics business, and later becoming a senior associate within the solutions engineering and client success team.

At the start of his career, he took on internships at Connectd, a London-based technology platform, and Infinity International, a foreign exchange and payment services company now known as Lumon.

Cole gained a graduate diploma in law at University of Law, University of London.
