LCH RepoClear has appointed Alexandre Roques as director of RepoClear product sales.
Based in London, he will report to Danny Foster, head of clearing product specialist sales.
Roques joins the firm following more than 17 years with Clearstream, where he was formerly head of trading for Collateral, Lending and Liquidity Solutions.
In his previous role, Roques led the Clearstream securities lending desk and oversaw a global team of sales traders, actively trading with over 50 counterparties in products such as securities lending, collateral swaps, or upgrade of collateral.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a securities finance and repo trader at Landsbankinn, and took on a similar role at BNP Paribas.
