BNY bids farewell to Knowles

Ben Knowles has departed BNY following almost 12 years with the firm.

While at BNY, Knowles held a number of roles within markets and collateral management before becoming the chief operating officer of markets for the European Bank.

He first joined BNY in 2014, where he took on the role of vice president, programme manager, strategic regulatory office within the markets business.

Earlier in his career, Knowles held a number of project manager and business analyst positions at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Investment Bank, BNP Paribas, and ING.

Commenting on his departure, Knowles says: “It has been an honour to contribute to this esteemed institution, navigating various roles in markets and collateral management.

“Each position brought its own unique set of challenges, offering invaluable insights and experiences along the way.”

In an online statement, he thanks his colleagues for their “determination, guidance, humour, and unwavering support”.
