Ingalls & Snyder appoints Madelyn Lando

Ingalls & Snyder, a self-clearing broker-dealer and investment advisor, has welcomed Madelyn Lando as senior vice president and head of Hedge Fund Services.
Based in New York, she will work alongside Jerry Losurdo managing the firm’s securities lending group and building out their services for hedge funds, including fully paid lending and capital introduction.
Lando is a Wall Street veteran bringing more than 30 years of industry experience to the role.
Her previous experience also includes Wells Fargo, where she was a managing director and head of the securities lending demand team.
Earlier in her career, she took on senior leadership roles at Bear Stearns/J.P. Morgan, where she provided strategic securities lending coverage to alternative asset managers, and spearheaded the firm’s fully paid lending efforts.
Beyond her professional career, Lando was the president of the Trade It Forward Foundation, a NYC-based private foundation and has collaborated with more than 25 non-profit organisations.
