Bullish, an institutional digital asset platform providing market infrastructure and information services, has expanded its partnership with Ripple.

As part of the expansion, users of Ripple Prime, the firm’s multi-asset prime brokerage platform, will receive Bullish’s options markets, including access to the firm’s regulated Bitcoin options markets.

Stablecoins, including Ripple USD, can be used to trade options on Bullish.

According to Bullish, Ripple Prime users will be able to deploy capital instantly through existing sub-account structures without additional Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

Bullish also says its planned cross-venue margin support will allow institutions to optimise collateral across exchanges and OTC desks.

Speaking on the initiative, Chris Tyrer, president of Bullish Exchange, says: “Institutional demand for crypto derivatives is growing, and having access to options is central for sophisticated investors looking to manage risk more precisely across their digital asset portfolios.â€

Mike Higgins, international CEO at Ripple Prime, adds: “The ability for institutional clients to cross-margin across multiple types of venues for their options trading only strengthens the depth of participation, optimising capital efficiency while facing a regulated and well-capitalised counterparty in Ripple Prime.â€
