Digital Asset hires Bigaud

Digital Asset, creator of the Canton Network, has appointed Sylvain Bigaud as senior director, global business development and strategy.
In his new role, Bigaud will have a strong focus on financial market infrastructures and capital market development projects.
Based in Dubai, he will be reporting to Aurélie Dhellemmes, global head of RWA sales.
Bigaud brings 13 years of industry experience from his time at Euroclear, having most recently operated as senior executive officer and regional head of the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey.
In this role, he was responsible for managing a team of nine relationship managers and account managers.
During his time at Euroclear, Bigaud covered more than 200 financial institutions, consisting of banks, central banks, custodians, and asset managers, which were active in a range of services and products, such as: settlement, asset servicing, lending and borrowing, and collateral management in fixed income.
