Kaizen has appointed Sam North to chief product officer as the company continues to scale its regulatory reporting assurance platform and strengthen how clients access and act on reporting insights.

Based in London, North will lead Kaizen’s product strategy and roadmap, with a focus on driving client value and adoption as the company continues to develop a more connected and scalable platform experience.

Michael Leach, CEO of Kaizen, says: “Sam brings an exceptional combination of deep regulatory reporting knowledge, extensive product experience, and a strong understanding of the challenges our clients face.

“Sam’s experience will be hugely valuable as we build on what Kaizen is already known for — deep expertise and rigorous regulatory reporting assurance — while continuing to evolve our platform and the experience we provide to clients.â€

North joins Kaizen from the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), where he has spent more than 15 years, most recently serving as executive director, product management.

He brings extensive experience across regulatory reporting, post-trade services, and product development, as well as digital transformation and the application of AI within financial services.

North comments: “Kaizen has built a strong reputation for the quality of its regulatory reporting assurance and is trusted by many of the world’s leading financial institutions. I’m excited to be joining at such an important point in its growth.

“There is a significant opportunity to make those capabilities even more accessible and actionable through technology, giving clients greater visibility into their reporting and making it easier to investigate and resolve issues.â€
