Kaizen has appointed Rob Bernstein as chief financial officer (CFO) as the company continues to scale its business and invest in its next phase of growth.
Based in London, Bernstein joins Kaizen from SteelEye, where he has served as CFO since 2020.
He brings more than 15 years of senior financial leadership experience across fast-growth technology and regtech businesses, including previous CFO roles at RegTek Solutions and TIM Group.
During his career, Bernstein has supported growing technology businesses through periods of significant expansion, bringing experience in financial strategy, commercial performance, and building finance functions capable of supporting ambitious growth.
His appointment follows the arrival of Sam North as chief product officer, strengthening Kaizens executive team as the company scales its regulatory reporting assurance platform and broader business.
Mike Leach, CEO of Kaizen, says: Rob brings an impressive track record of helping ambitious technology businesses scale, alongside deep experience in regtech and working within private equity-backed environments.
As Kaizen moves into its next phase of growth, strong financial and commercial leadership will be increasingly important.
Robs experience of supporting scaling businesses, driving commercial performance, and building the financial infrastructure required for growth will be invaluable as we execute our long-term strategy.
Commenting on his appointment, Bernstein states that Kaizen has built a strong position in regulatory reporting assurance with a highly credible client base and a clear opportunity to scale further.
He is keen to bring his experience to Kaizen as it enters its next phase of growth.
