Women in 厙惇勛圖 Finance (WISF) has welcomed Harpreet Bains, managing director and head of EMEA agency securities finance at JPMorgan Chase, Ina Budh-Raja, CEO of ISLA, and Nancy Allen, global head of Equilend Data and Analytics solutions, as the next global chairs, effective 1 January 2027.
They will succeed Arianne M. Collette, managing director and head of US equities business at DTCC, Jill Rathgeber, vice president of product strategy and Fidelity Agency Lending at Fidelity, and Elaina Kim Benfield, assistant general counsel at Vanguard.
The transition marks the next phase of development for WISF, which was founded in 2018.
Colette says: When we started WISF, we had a simple belief: that bringing women across our industry together could create something far more powerful than any of us could build alone.
Im incredibly proud of what we built together and even more excited to see where the next generation of leaders takes it.
Bains, Budh-Raja, and Allen have each been deeply involved in WISF for many years and have played important roles in building and strengthening the community.
Their experience, energy, relationships, and commitment to the mission make them exceptionally well positioned to lead WISF into its next phase, the group says.
Bains, Allen, and Budh-Raja shared that they are grateful for the trust placed in them and look forward to working with their chapter leads and members to build on the foundations for future evolution.
As part of this transition, additional chapter succession planning is already underway.
The network now comprises 3,500 professionals across more than 100 firms globally, spanning chapters in New York, Boston, Toronto, London, APAC, and a dedicated virtual chapter.
WISF has hosted more than 100 events targeting market participants across trading, lending, borrowing, sales, relationship management, legal, technology, product, operations, and portfolio management.
Rathgeber comments: In an industry built on relationships, creating a space where women can connect, learn from one another, champion each other, and build meaningful relationships has had an impact far beyond what we initially imagined.
When we bring more people into the conversation and create stronger networks across our industry, we create more opportunities for individuals, firms, and the industry as a whole to grow."
Benfield adds: Leadership succession is essential to ensuring that WISF continues to evolve with the industry and the needs of its members.
Developing the next generation of leaders is not simply about passing the torch it is about creating the opportunity for new voices, ideas, and perspectives to shape what comes next.
