Steinberg departs J.P. Morgan

Rene Steinberg, who is based in Frankfurt, is vacating his role as J.P. Morgan’s agency securities lending relationship manager and vice president after nearly two decades with the bank.

Steinberg joined J.P. Morgan in 2008 and has worked in various client-facing roles within the global securities services and investor services division.

As an agent lending relationship manager, Steinberg recently acted as the focal point of contact for the major securities lending clients located in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.

Prior to that, he worked in the capital markets industry in equity settlements and business support operations for investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort.

Before then, he worked in a variety of roles for Dresdner Bank in transaction banking, where he was promoted from a traineeship position.

It has not been confirmed where Steinberg is headed or who will fill his position.
