GLMX has released its platform activity performance for the third quarter of 2026.
According to the report, the average daily volume of securities finance transactions traded on the GLMX platform climbed 17 per cent year-on-year (YoY), up to US$1.8 trillion.
For the average daily balance of new and existing trades on the platform, the firm reports a 19 per cent YoY rise to US$4.92 trillion for Q3.
GLMX recorded quarter-on-quarter and YoY growth across its increasingly diverse suite in Q3 2026, as the firm expanded its offerings to meet evolving client demand.
The platform also saw significant increases in securities lending availability and trading volumes as lenders integrated in the third quarter for both equities and fixed income.
Commenting on the performance, Glenn Havlicek, CEO of GLMX, comments: In the face of a continued volatile rate environment, the market again demonstrated the value of efficiency and nuanced engagement.
GLMXs ongoing growth highlights that our clients demand and appreciate access to liquidity across a range of workflows with converging business drivers.
Looking ahead we see additional repo ecosystem growth especially in credit and structured products, and significant opportunities to serve the securities lending community as it continues to grow and seek new execution alternatives.
Andy Wiblin, global chief operating officer at GLMX, adds: We have invested heavily in the securities lending market because we believe it is an important part of the electronification of markets in general.
Its a critical part of the securities financing market convergence reality, and we were pleased to see market-leading firms go live on our platform with significant, deeply integrated trade flow.
