Euroclear has onboarded Mike Reece to its Product Strategy & Innovation (PSI) division as head of market liquidity.
Following three years with the firm, Reece transitions to the new role from his previous title as head of Collateral Management Services within Euroclear Bank.
In his new position, he will report to Euroclear’s head of the PSI division and managing director Isabelle Delorme.
Based in Belgium, Reece will oversee collateral and financing, banking, and settlement services, ensuring close alignment across these key areas that underpin Euroclear’s long-term growth strategy.
He succeeds Oliver Grimonpont, who will maintain his focus on Asia product strategy, before retiring from Euroclear at the end of this year.
According to the firm, this enhanced structure brings together complementary expertise to promote innovation and client focus across Euroclear’s collateral management and financing business, banking, and settlement services.
Marije Verhelst, head of collateral and financing, and Gareth Jones, head of settlement and banking services, will continue in their senior leadership roles, reporting to Reece.
Commenting on the news, Delorme says: “As we look to the future, our focus remains on innovation, market collaboration, and delivering ever greater value to our clients.
“Under Mike’s leadership, the team is well positioned to continue to deliver the next generation of client-focused solutions and exceptional service.â€
