RBC Investor Services has appointed Stewart Weatherill as associate director within the firm’s securities finance team.
Based in London, he will report to Chris Barrand, managing director and co-head, securities finance.
Weatherill brings more than 20 years of experience within securities finance, across various positions including securities finance agency trading, securities lending sales trading, and prime brokerage account management.
In his previous role, Weatherill was a senior securities finance trader during his decade-long tenure at Northern Trust.
Prior to this, he was a securities lending sales trader at Commerzbank AG/Dresdner Bank, where he spent 12 years.
