EquiLend hires Sutherland

EquiLend has appointed Richard Sutherland to its account management team.
Based in Boston, he brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in securities lending.
Sutherland began his career at State Street where he was most recently managing director of Financing Solutions, and acted as head of DTC products, equities, and credit trading.
During his time with the firm, he took on a number of roles within securities finance including vice president of securities finance and securities finance trading assistant.
