GPFA welcomes L&G Asset Management

The Global Peer Financing Association (GPFA) has introduced L&G Asset Management as its newest member, further expanding the association’s buy side network.
Since its establishment in 2020, GPFA has grown to include over 40 global asset owners, collectively representing more than US$13 trillion in assets.
Notably, a large portion of this membership and asset base originates from public government pension plans and sovereign wealth funds.
The association covers all global asset owner types, including public pensions, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and asset management businesses.
L&G's asset management business acts as a global investor across public and private markets, with £1.177 trillion in assets under management.
The firm provides investment solutions, ranging from index-tracking and active funds to liquidity and liability-driven risk management strategies.
Its client base spans individual savers, pension scheme members, and global institutions.
