ISDA launches AI traceability tool for DRR solution

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) has launched an AI agent for its Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) solution.
The tracer agent is designed to allow users to look back at the history of DRR decision-making to understand when and why coding choices were made.
ISDA DRR has been developed within a governance structure that establishes a golden-source interpretation of each covered rule set, which is reviewed and agreed upon by an industry committee.
The agent provides a searchable and auditable record that allows users to map DRR interpretative decisions back to the regulatory reporting requirements, by extracting information from ISDA working group discussions and documentation.
The ISDA DRR utilises the open-source Common Domain Model to transform the golden-source interpretation of regulatory reporting rules into machine-executable code.
ISDA appointed Gentek AI to assist in developing the DRR tracer agent following a request for quote process.
