CITIC CLSA hires Jourdain

CITIC CLSA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC Íø±¬³Ô¹Ï, has appointed Sophie Jourdain as EMEA and US securities lending trader for equity derivatives.
Based in London, Jourdain will be part of the global securities borrowing and lending team, which is managed by Adam Smith, executive director, head of equity finance in Hong Kong.
She will report directly to Jiayi Shi, head of equity derivatives UK and deputy head of trading.
Jourdain joins CITIC CLSA from Credit Suisse, where she worked for over two years as a securities lending and repo trader in the firm’s Zurich office.
Prior to this role, Jourdain spent time at UBS, where she was positioned within the firm’s securities lending division as equity trader for EMEA.
Previously, she worked within the cross asset secured financing sales team at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB).
